WALLOWER NAMED CEDAR CREST ATHLETE OF THE WEEK FOR THIRD TIME THIS SEASON

Allentown, PA (January 29, 2008) -- Freshman forward Leann Wallower (Havertown, PA/Haverford) was named the Cedar Crest Athlete of the Week for her outstanding performance in the week ending January 27.

Wallower notched a game-high 23 points, five boards, and one steal in the Falcons’ 68-58 loss to Centenary College on Monday, January 21.  She then hit a team-high 15 points and made four steals in Cedar Crest’s 67-47 loss to Misericordia University on Thursday, January 24. 

Wallower was also named to the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Basketball Honor Roll for the second week in a row, marking the fifth time this season a Falcon has earned this honor. 

The Falcons are currently 4-13 overall (0-10 PAC) and will return to action when they travel to Penn State Hazelton on Thursday, January 31 at 6:00 p.m. in non-conference action.
