OAKES NAMED TO PAC BASKETBALL HONOR ROLL OF THE WEEK

Aston, PA (February 25, 2008) – Sophomore Kelly Oakes  (Wilmington, DE/ Delcastle Tech) was named to the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Basketball Honor Roll for her outstanding performance in the week ending February 25. 

Oakes notched the first triple-double of her career with a team-high 23 points, a game-high 16 boards and a game-high of 10 assists in an 83-65 loss to playoff contender Centenary College on Thursday, February 21. 

This marks the seventh time this season a Falcon has been recognized by the PAC.   Oakes was named the PAC Co-Player of the Week in the week ending on November 26 and to the PAC Honorable Mention on the week ending December 9, while freshman Leann Wallower was named a PAC Honorable Mention twice this season in the weeks ending January 22 and 28 and the PAC Co-Player of the Week for the week ending February 11.  Freshman Keri Lasky was recognized as a PAC Honorable Mention in the week ending January 13. 

The Falcons finish the season with a 6-19 overall record and a 1-15 finish in the PAC.
