CEDAR CREST BASKETBALL EARNS PAC TEAM SPORTSMANSHIP OF THE YEAR AWARD; CIPRIANI NAMED TO ALL-PAC SPORTSMANSHIP TEAM

Aston, PA (March 4, 2008) – The 2007-08 Cedar Crest College basketball team was named the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Sportsmanship Team of the Year by a vote of the league’s coaches released by the conference office on Tuesday.   

This award is designed to acknowledge the basketball team that, in the opinion of its peers, most closely demonstrates good sportsmanship based on the ideals of the PAC and its Code of Conduct.

Freshman Kelley Cipriani (Medford, NJ/Shawnee) was named to the All-PAC Sportsmanship Team to represent Cedar Crest. 

The Falcons finish the season with a 6-19 overall record and a 1-15 finish in the PAC.
