FIELD HOCKEY FALLS TO NEUMANN IN PAC ACTION

Allentown, PA (September 22, 2007) – The Cedar Crest College field hockey team dropped a 6-0 loss to Pennsylvania Athletic Conference opponent Neumann College on Monday afternoon.  

Lauren Hood tallied two goals, while Kerri Sinclair added one goal and two assists to lead Neumann.

Neumann held a 27-1 advantage in shots and posted nine corners. 

Sophomore Rachel Orlen made a game-high 14 saves in the cage for the Falcons, while Neumann keeper Chelsea Ward notched one save on the day. 

The Falcons, who fall to 0-9 overall and 0-5 in the PAC, will be back in action on Thursday, September 27 when they play PAC rival Alvernia College at 4:00 p.m.
