ORLEN POSTS CAREER-HIGH 37 SAVES IN LOSS TO MARYWOOD

Scranton, PA (October 3, 2007) – Sophomore Rachel Orlen made a career-high 37 saves, but it would not be enough as Cedar Crest College field hockey dropped a 9-0 decision to Marywood University in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference action on Thursday afternoon.    

Caity Hadzimichalis posted two goals and two assists to lead the Pacers.  Teammate Shannon Hubbard added two goals and one assist in the win. 

The Falcons, who fall to 0-12 overall and 0-8 in the PAC, will be back in action on Thursday, October 11 when they host Gwynedd-Mercy College at 4:00 p.m.
