FIELD HOCKEY DROPS SEASON FINALE TO CABRINI

Radnor, PA (October 20, 2007) – The Cedar Crest College field hockey team fell 7-1 to host Cabrini College in the final contest of the season on Saturday afternoon.

Desiree Umasello and Melissa Bendetti each posted two goals to lead the Cavaliers. 

Freshman Jessica Macko notched her first goal of the season on a breakaway 10 minutes into the start of the second half to cut the score to, 4-1, but it would not be enough for the Falcons.   

Sophomore Rachel Orlen, who ranks second in the country in saves per game, posted 12 saves in the contest.

The Falcons finish the season at 0-16 and 0-10 in the PAC.
