SOCCER FALLS TO LYCOMING COLLEGE

Williamsport, PA (September 8, 2007) – The Cedar Crest College women’s soccer team fell to Lycoming College, 8-0, on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action. 

Bekah Shipe posted a hat trick for Lycoming, while teammate Rachael Skinner netted two goals. Stephanie Shearer posted a game-high three assists in the victory. Kaitlyn Horn found the back of the goal as did Lauren Kacmarczyk, while Sarah Wingerden and Dana Steinbruch each tallied one assist.

Caitlyn Little made 10 saves on 29 shots in the net for the Falcons. 

The Falcons fall to 1-2 on the season, while Lycoming improves to 3-1. 

Cedar Crest will travel to Marywood University on Thursday, September 13 at 4:00 p.m.
