SOCCER FALLS TO UNDEFEATED MARYWOOD IN PAC OPENER

Scranton, PA (September 13, 2007) – The Cedar Crest College women’s soccer team fell to Pennsylvania Athletic Conference rival Marywood University on Thursday afternoon in both team’s league opener. 

Marywood, which has yet to lose a game this season, was led by Marissa Ruda who notched two goals and two assists on the day.  Kristin Powers added one goal and two assists, while Lisa Hanselman and Annie McDonald each scored one goal and posted one assist.  Laura Corodo also tallied a goal. 

Caitlyn Little made six saves on seven shots in the net for the Falcons. 

The Falcons fall to 1-3 overall and 0-1 in the PAC, while Marywood improves 5-0 overall and 1-0 in the PAC. 

Cedar Crest will host Arcadia University on Saturday, September 15 at 1:00 p.m.
