CEDAR CREST TENNIS FALLS TO GWYNEDD-MERCY IN PAC ACTION

Allentown, PA (September 25, 2007) – The Cedar Crest tennis team lost for just the second time this season at the hands of Pennsylvania Athletic Conference rival Gwynedd-Mercy College on Tuesday afternoon. 

Gwynedd-Mercy defeated Cedar Crest, 8-1. 

Freshman Sarah Schopf was the lone winner for the Falcons in the No. 5 singles spot with a win over Gwynedd’s Heather Kozin.

Sophomore Maria Mallery and freshman Alex Kuebler lost for the first time this season, falling to 8-1 in the No. 2 doubles spot with an 8-4 loss to Davida Phillips and Ashley Bowie of Gwynedd-Mercy.   

Cedar Crest falls to 7-2 (3-2 PAC) on the season and travel to Immaculata University on Saturday, September 29 at 1:00 p.m.
