CEDAR CREST TENNIS POSTS A 9-0 SHUTOUT OVER IMMACULATA

Immaculata, PA (September 29, 2007) – The Cedar Crest tennis team reverted back to its winning ways with a 9-0 defeat of Pennsylvania Athletic Conference rival Immaculata University on Saturday afternoon.   

Sophomore Maria Mallery and freshman Alex Kuebler improve to 9-1 in doubles action with an 8-1 win in the No. 2 doubles spot.  Senior Colleen Ford and sophomore Laura Shivley also notched an 8-1 win in No. 1 doubles action.  Sophomore Sara

Messner and freshman Sarah Schopf posted an 8-0 doubles victory in the No. 3 spot.

Mallery, Shivley, Kuebler, Messner, Schopf, and Ford posted victories at the No. 1 through 6 singles spots, respectively. 

Cedar Crest improves to 8-2 (4-2 PAC) on the season and will host Marywood University on Wednesday, October 3 at 3:30 p.m.
