TENNIS DROPS FIRST MATCH OF THE SEASON TO PAC POWERHOUSE CABRINI

Allentown, PA (September 13, 2007) – Pennsylvania Athletic Conference power Cabrini College ended Cedar Crest’s road to a perfect season on Friday when the Cavaliers defeated the Falcons, 8-1.

Sophomore Maria Mallery and Freshman Alex Kuebler were the lone winners for the Falcons in the No. 2 doubles spot.  Mallery and Kuebler defeated Christine Telling and Megan Simmons, 8-6, for the victory.

Kuebler came the closest to a win in singles action, dropping an 8-4 decision to Simmons. 

Mallery and Kuebler still remain undefeated in doubles action.

Cedar Crest falls to 4-1 (1-1 PAC) on the season and will travel to Penn State Berks on Monday, September 17 at 3:30 p.m.
