VOLLEYBALL DEFEATS PAC FOE MARYWOOD; FALLS TO VILLA JULIE

Allentown, PA (September 22, 2007) – The Cedar Crest College volleyball team defeated Marywood University in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference action and fell to Villa Julie in non-league action on Saturday afternoon in Lees Gymnasium. 

In game one, the Falcons defeated Marywood, 30-25, 30-12, 30-22.  Keri Lasky notched 15 digs and seven kills, while Mackenzie Lee notched a team-high 11 kills and four service aces.  Amanda Dombroski added 10 kills and nine digs, while Lauren Seale posted 27 assists. 

In game two, Villa Julie outscored the Falcons, 30-27, 30-11, 30-11.  Dombroski had a team-high eight digs, while Kelly Oakes added six kills and seven digs. 

The Falcons are now 5-7 (2-1 PAC) on the season and will travel to Eastern University on Monday, September 24 at 6:00 p.m.
