CEDAR CREST’S KERI LASKY NAMED PAC VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Aston, PA (September 24, 2007) – Freshman outside hitter Keri Lasky  (Annandale, NJ/ North Hunterdon) was named the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for her outstanding performance in the week ending September 23. 

Lasky led the Falcons to an undefeated week in conference play with wins over Marywood University (3-0) and Immaculata University (3-1). 

Lasky posted seven kills and 15 digs in the win over Marywood and 14 kills and 14 digs in the victory over Immaculata.  She currently has 86 kills and 161 digs in 12 matches on the season. 

This marks the second time a Cedar Crest athlete has won PAC Player of the Week honors this season.  Freshman Alex Kuebler earned Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending September 9. 

Cedar Crest is currently 5-7 (2-1 PAC) on the season and will travel to Pennsylvania Athletic Conference foe Eastern University on Monday, September 24 at 6:00 p.m.
