VOLLEYBALL DROPS 3-0 DECISION TO UNDEFEATED KING’S COLLEGE
Wilkes-Barre, PA (September 5, 2007) – The Cedar Crest College women’s volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to undefeated King’s College in non-conference action on Wednesday evening in Scandlon Gymnasium.
Sophomore Kelly Oakes led the charge for the Falcons with seven kills and eight digs. Freshman Lauren Seale made a team-high 18 assists and three service aces. Seale also posted nine digs in the loss, while classmate Kari Lasky notched a team-high 11 digs.
Leading the way for the Monarchs, who have won five-straight games, was sophomore Kat Clerici with 17 kills on the day. Fellow sophomore Kaitlyn Malshefski followed with nine kills.
Cedar Crest is now 1-2 on the season and will host Ursinus College at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 8. The Falcons will then face Arcadia in the 2:00 match.
