CEDAR CREST FIELD HOCKEY STANDOUT RACHEL ORLEN NAMED CEDAR CREST ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Allentown, PA (September 24, 2008) – Junior goalie Rachel Orlen (Robbinsville, NJ/Highstown HS) was named the Cedar Crest Athlete of the Week for her outstanding saves in the week ending September 24. 

Orlen posted nine saves in Cedar Crest’s double-overtime win over Hood, including stopping four penalty strokes after the two overtimes.   She also added four saves in the Falcons 4-1 win over Rosemont College on Wednesday. 

Orlen currently ranks sixth in the country with an 89.1 save percentage.

Cedar Crest is currently 2-4 overall (1-0 CSAC). 

Cedar Crest will travel to Philadelphia Biblical University on Wednesday, September 24 at 4:30 p.m. in Colonial States Athletic Conference action.
