BRYN MAWR EARNS VICTORY OVER CEDAR CREST LACROSSE IN NON-LEAGUE ACTION

Bryn Mawr, PA (April 10, 2008) – The Bryn Mawr College lacrosse team handed Cedar Crest a 15-3 loss in non-conference action on Thursday afternoon. 

Sophomores Jesenia Holguin, Amanda Dombroski, and Mackenzie Lee each scored one goal for the Falcons, while sophomore Kelly Oakes added an assist. 

Bryn Mawr came out strong over the first ten minutes of the contest, going on an 8-0 run.  Lee took a pass from Oakes at the 20:38 mark in the first half.  The Owls posted two more goals before Holguin added another goal for the Falcons with two minutes remaining before the end of the half. 

Bryn Mawr opened the second half with three unanswered goals until Dombroski posted a goal at the 11:40 mark in the second half.  The Owls added one more tally on the day.

The Owls were led by Moriah Scott who tallied a game-high four goals and posted one assist.

Cedar Crest falls to 1-10 on the season, while Bryn Mawr improves to 4-8.

The Falcons will host Centenary College on Monday, April 14 at 4:00 p.m. in PAC action.
