HOLLAND AND OAKES NAMED TO ALL-PAC SPORTSMANSHIP TEAMS

Aston, PA (May 7, 2008) – Junior softball player Allison Holland (Mercerburg, PA/James Buchanan) and sophomore lacrosse player Kelly Oakes (Wilmington, DE/Delcastle Tech) were named to the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Sportsmanship team in each of their respective sports on Tuesday afternoon.

Holland was twice named a PAC Player of the Week, while also being named the Cedar Crest Athlete of the Week two times this season.  She led the league in strikeouts per seven innings, games pitched, and appearances.  She boasted a 2.26 earned run average and led the team with a .317 batting average.  She also led the team in runs scored, hits, and doubles.

Oakes started and played in all 16 games for the Falcons this f all.  She led the team with 47 draw controls and 15 assists, while also adding 10 goals and 25 groundballs this season.
