HOLLAND NAMED PAC PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Aston, PA (March 25, 2008) -- Junior pitcher Allison Holland (Mercerburg, PA/James Buchanan) was named the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference pitcher of the week for her outstanding play in the week ending March 23. 

Holland threw 14 consecutive innings to lead the Falcons to back-to-back victories over Keystone College.  She allowed five hits, three runs, and struck out seven batters in game one, while allowing four hits, no runs, and striking out seven in game two. She walked only four batters on the day. 

The Falcons are currently on a six-game winning streak with an 8-5 overall record and they are 2-0 in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference play.
