SUNY PURCHASE HANDS CEDAR CREST SOCCER 2-0 LOSS

Bryn Mawr, PA (August 31, 2008) – The Cedar Crest College soccer team fell 2-0 to SUNY Purchase in the consolation game of the Bryn Mawr College Tournament on Sunday afternoon in non-conference action.

Sophomore April Johnson made 16 saves in the net for the Falcons, while Steph Janasiewicz netted nine stops in the net for Purchase.

Jessica Noonan scored both goals for SUNY Purchase.

Purchase improves to 1-1 on the season, while Cedar Crest falls to 0-2.

The Falcons will host DeSales University on Wednesday, September 3 at 4:00 p.m. in non-conference action.
