TENNIS FALLS TO EASTERN IN SEASON OPENER

St. David’s, PA (August 30, 2008) – Sophomore Alex Kuebler and junior Sara Messner posted victories at the No. 2 and 3 spots respectively, as the Cedar Crest College tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to Eastern University on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action.

Kuebler defeated Hannah Tobin, 6-1, 6-2, while Messner topped Lindsey Leh, 2-6, 6-4, and 10-8. 

Cedar Crest falls to 0-1 on the season, while Eastern improves to 1-0.

The Falcons will host Misericordia University on Tuesday, September 2 at 3:30 p.m. for their first home match of the season.
