“Innovation is a great idea, executed brilliantly, and communicated in a way that is both intuitive and fully celebrates the magic of the initial concept.” ~ Pete Foley
While there are differences between Forensic Science and business/computer science, Foley’s quote spoke to me about what innovation is and its connection to the Master of Science in Forensic Science program at Cedar Crest College.
The program at Cedar Crest College being a generalist program aids in the ability to come up with multiple and unique great ideas. Chemical, biological, and crime scene related topics are discussed in great depth in your time at Cedar Crest. You will get a chance to discover or rediscover your passions and come up with ideas that you could pursue in your research endeavors.
Every student gets the opportunity to apply what they learned in the classroom in laboratory settings, both in coursework and research, brilliantly executing their great ideas. Students also get numerous opportunities to apply for and attend conferences where you can effectively communicate your idea. Currently, I am synthesizing and analyzing a designer drug that has not been characterized in SWGDRUG.
The Master of Science in Forensic Science program at Cedar Crest College will prepare you to develop, execute, and communicate great ideas that can one day improve Forensic Science practice.
