Careers in Mathematics

Today, there is an increasing demand for mathematicians in the workforce. Graduates with degrees in mathematics, particularly women, will find a wide range of job opportunities available to them, in fields such as technology, business and education. In many careers seemingly unrelated to math, graduates will find that they draw upon their mathematics knowledge while comparing research and analyzing statistics. In fact, all careers benefit from the ability to think critically and analytically to solve problems, which are skills you will develop while pursuing a mathematics major or minor.

In particular, if you are interested in any of the following opportunities, completing our math major or minor program may help you achieve your goals.
