On September 16, 2015 novelist, Jenny Offill will visit Cedar Crest College for a reading and book signing from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Offill will be reading from her latest novel, Dept. of Speculation, named by The New York Times Book Review as one of The 10 Best Books of 2014 as well as A Best Book of the Year by The New Yorker, The Boston Globe, Minneapolis Star Tribune, and

Jenny Offill is also the author of the novel Last Things, which was chosen as a Notable Book of the Year by The New York Times and was a finalist for The Los Angeles Times First Book Award. She teaches in the writing programs at Queens University of Charlotte, Brooklyn College, and Columbia University.
