Senior Awards & Prizes

History students at Cedar Crest College are eligible to apply for many valuable scholarships, awards and prizes that are awarded by the College. A few of these opportunities include:

Holstrom History Merit Prize
Awarded by the history department to the senior who has shown outstanding ability, interest and enthusiasm in the study of history.

Helen S. Weinberger Prize
Given in memory of Helen S. Weinberger ’24 to the senior history major who has achieved the highest academic average in the junior and senior years.

Margaret M. Bryant Prize
Awarded by the humanities department to the senior who will be moving on to graduate school in the field of humanities and who has achieved distinction in scholarship and shows great promise.

The Humanities Prize
Awarded by the humanities department to the senior who has demonstrated outstanding and imaginative performance in the humanities.
