Psychology Minors

As a school that takes a liberal arts approach to academics, Cedar Crest College encourages students like you to take part in all academic areas that interest you.

Because psychology examines how and why people act, think and feel the way they do, the psychology minor is particularly useful when combined with other disciplines that are centered around human (and animal) interactions, such as:

  • Art (used as a therapeutic tool)
  • Business
  • Communication
  • Criminal justice
  • Dance
  • Education
  • Forensic science
  • New media
  • Pre-law
  • Pre-medicine
  • Pre-veterinary

As a psychology minor, you will focus on theories behind human and non-human behavior and have the opportunity to conduct research and work inside state-of-the-art labs equipped with leading edge technology.

In addition to the standard psychology classes, our program includes unique course options to deepen your understanding of the field of psychology. (See Course Descriptions for our class list.)
