Many career paths will be open to you after you earn your bachelor’s degree in social work. Here are just some of the occupations for which this major is well suited. (Additional training may be required for some of them.)
Today, more social workers provide counseling and psychotherapy than any other profession including psychologists and psychiatrists. Students who pursue social work are able to perform the same services with a master’s level degree as many professionals with a Ph.D.
