Immersion Courses

The goal of learning a second language shouldn’t be to memorize words but to use the language to communicate. Here at Cedar Crest College, you will begin having real conversations in Spanish during your first class.

The only way to truly learn a language is to use that language in natural settings. That’s why our Spanish courses are taught entirely in the target language.

Here, you will also find small class sizes, a relaxed atmosphere, and classmates who are willing to learn with you. Together, these factors will enable you to quickly gain the confidence and skills you need in order to begin using Spanish both inside and outside the classroom.

In addition, each Spanish course is taught by a native speaker who provides instruction in language (words and sentence structure) as well as in Spanish culture and the context in which to use the language. Working with a native speaker is the best way for you to build critical communication skills and a true understanding of the language.
