Interfaith – Spiritual and Religious Diversity

The CDI works in collaboration with CCC offices and faith student organizations on campus to implement programs throughout the year to celebrate the spiritual and religious diversity at CCC. Programs can include events to highlight religious/spiritual holidays and Queer Spirituality. The CDI provides programming to students of all faiths to seek avenues of personal growth.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Education and Workshops

The CDI provides Educational Workshops and Training sessions for campus departments, Academic Departments and student groups. Through the leadership of the Inclusion Advocates and the Executive Director of Diversity and Inclusion, the goal is to promote DEI work so that each member of the campus community feels a sense of belonging and awareness.

Accessibility

Accessibility is the practice of making information, spaces, and activities accommodating to as many people as possible. Accessibility has an important role in many people’s lives especially those with disabilities. Accessibility also aims to make life more equitable for people with disabilities and/ or societal barriers. At the Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI) the accessibility inclusion advocate’s (IA) responsibilities are to plan events with Disability Services, maintain outreach with students, and advocate for more accessible practices at the college. If you have questions or would like to collaborate with the accessibility IA please reach out to the CDI’s email at DiversityInclusionCCC@gmail.com

More

The CDI works in collaboration with CCC academic departments and offices to bring forth even more opportunities. We also collaborate with other local colleges to bring local social justice conference opportunities for students.
