Heritage, Identity & Study Abroad Stoles

UPDATE for August 15 event:

Stoles will be available for pick up once the Campus Bookstore reopens at the beginning of August. If you are not able to come to campus until the day of Commencement Recognition, stoles will be available at check-in on August 15, 2020.

Stoles can still be ordered once the Campus Bookstore reopens at the beginning of August. The Campus Bookstore will provide information on how to cancel a stole order and get a refund for those who cannot attend the August 15 event.

Stoles are sashes worn draped over the shoulders at ceremonies to denote achievement in academics, extracurricular activities, or to represent cultural/heritage identity and pride. Stoles are meant to be an inspiration to others and to honor, celebrate, connect and reflect on their collective heritage and communal struggles and successes.

Available options: Asian & Pacific Islander, CCC Pride with ginkgo leaf, Falcon Pride (falcon head logo), First Generation, International, Kente (Black or African American), LatinX and Serape (Mexican print), LGBTQA+, Native American, Study Abroad destinations, and Veteran.
