We are pleased to announce that, as long as it remains safe and feasible, we hope to be able to hold Commencement Exercises in person at the PPL Center in Center City Allentown.
In order to do so as safely as possible, and in accordance with any public health capacity limits that may be in place, the College will hold two ceremonies:
Evening of Friday, May 14 – all School of Nursing (BSN, MSN, DNP) and other graduate programs
Morning of Saturday, May 15 – all Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Sciences undergraduate programs
We are hard at work on logistics such as timing, number of guests allowed (if possible at all), ordering of caps and gowns, and other related details and events, all of which are subject to change and will be dependent on public health guidelines and state restrictions as we get closer to the date. The number of guests you may be able to invite, if they are permitted, is likely to be strictly limited under public health guidelines. Both days of the ceremony will be livestreamed for those not in attendance.
Cedar Crest College remains committed to protecting the safety and wellbeing of every member of our community, and the College’s Health and Safety Plan for COVID-19 will remain in effect for all Commencement-related events.
Updates and an FAQ will be shared via email and on this page in the coming weeks.
