Cedar Crest College announced today that it will suspend its SAT/ACT standardized test requirement for students applying for the fall 2021 semester. The decision stems from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on students and exam administrators.
“This unprecedented situation has led to cancellations by testing administrators and presented barriers and additional stress for rising high school seniors. We want to alleviate some of those concerns for students interested in applying to Cedar Crest,” said Elizabeth M. Meade, president of Cedar Crest College. “Waiving the requirement to submit SAT or ACT scores as part of the admissions application is one way we can help streamline the process for them.”
Cedar Crest’s application for admission to the Undergraduate Women’s College for the fall 2021 semester opens August 1, 2020 at www.cedarcrest.edu/apply. The application will note that the submission of SAT or ACT scores is optional.
