The Education Department’s certification programs meet all Pennsylvania Department of Education requirements for teacher certification. Students who complete our program will be certified to teach in Pennsylvania. Students wishing to transfer their license to another state will need to comply to the guidelines of that state.
Out-of-state students will be notified in writing if Cedar Crest College’s educational requirements do not meet the student’s home state educational requirements. Educational requirements do not include items such as additional testing and documentation that the out-of-state may require.
