Students are eligible to participate in housing selection if they meet the following conditions:
- Have financially clear student accounts
- Have completed the registration for 12 or more credits for the upcoming semester
- Have completed the Housing Application available on MyCedarCrest under the Student Affairs tab in the Residence Life folder by the stated deadline
Students eligible for housing selection will be placed in a lottery by class year based upon credits earned through the most recently completed semester. On selection day, students will have the opportunity to select where they would like to live and with whom. More details about housing selection day will be sent out as the date approaches. Students should not miss class to participate in housing selection. If students must miss selection, then they should fill out a proxy form available and send someone in their place. Proxy forms are available in the residence life office.
During housing selection, you may sign up to live with a roommate of your choice. If you have no one in mind, you may be placed with someone who also does not have a roommate. During the summer, new students are assigned to the residence halls, so if you leave the semester without a roommate, you will likely get one over the summer.
For more information about the Housing Selection process, please contact the office of residence life at email@example.com or by phone at campus extension 3401 or 610-606-4603.
