What is Pathways to Possibility?
As higher education costs continue to rise, Cedar Crest College is determined to remove financial barriers. The Pathways to Possibility Scholarship Program was established to help students whose financial needs exceed available aid—students who, without this critical support, may be unable to attend or remain at Cedar Crest. This program supports recruitment, retention, and makes a Cedar Crest degree attainable for more students.
How it Works:
Scholarship awards typically range from $500 to $5,000 per student. These funds may be applied to tuition, fees, room, board, or other direct educational costs. These funds are awarded by our Enrollment and Financial Aid offices to any student—first-year, transfer, graduate, or returning students.
Naming Opportunity:
The minimum finding level for an annual named scholarship to support Pathways is $2,500 per year, with a four-year commitment to ensure continuity for our students. Donors can choose to support the general Pathways to Possibility Scholarship Fund below this threshold.
Your named scholarship can be in your name or, if you choose, in honor of someone who was an inspiration to you during your Cedar Crest education. Your scholarship commitment includes annual updates, including student biographies and opportunities to meet these students at the annual Because of You: Scholarship Celebration [link to page]. Your named gift also inducts you into Crest Society [link to page]—a testament to your dedication to our students.
