Commemorative Gifts

Commemorative gifts create a lasting legacy at Cedar Crest College. By naming one of the following commemorative items, you make your mark on Cedar Crest’s campus.  

Tree 

For $2,500, you can choose a tree to plant in Cedar Crest’s nationally recognized arboretum. Your donation includes a 9” by 4” bronze cast plaque installed on a stake.  

Bench 

For $1,500, a campus bench will be designated in your name, your class year, or your choice of title using a 6” by 2” plaque affixed to the bench. When students sit outside to catch up with friends, study, or relax, they can remember those who came before them. 

Adirondack Chair 

Adirondack chairs provide quiet, comfortable spaces for students to enjoy Cedar Crest’s beautiful campus. For $500, you can receive a plaque affixed to said chair as a token of your commitment to Cedar Crest. 

Nursing Simulation Center Locker 

Cedar Crest College’s School of Nursing has created generations of caring and compassionate nurses. For $500, you can purchase a plaque for one locker located in the Nursing Simulation Center to remember your roots as a student nurse. 

Samuels Theatre and Alumnae Hall Seat 

From Junior Ring, Frolic, Song Contest, and Performing Arts shows, Samuels Theatre and Alumnae Hall were like a second home to many. Make your legacy last with a plaque fixed on the arm of one of these chairs for $500. 

Commemorative Gift Program: Bricks & Pavers  

Cedar Crest’s walkways tell the story of those who have passed through them. For $250, personalize a brick permanently placed along our campus walkways. For $500, choose a paver stone for a larger tribute. Both options benefit the Cedar Crest Fund and ensure that your journey, or your student’s journey, becomes a lasting part of the college landscape.
