For those who have eligibility for the post 9/11 G.I. Bill®. We understand that adult students have many commitments at work, with family, and within the community. Cedar Crest College’s School of Adult and Graduate Education, therefore, offers a variety of on-campus, online, and accelerated programs that offer veterans the flexibility to complete their program in a timely manner.

How to Get Started

Step 1: Determine your Chapter

The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) provides detailed information and guides to help you determine your chapter and eligibility for benefits:

Step 2: Apply for VA Benefits

Step 3: Submit a free online application to Cedar Crest College

Request your transcripts:

Official high school/GED (students holding a Bachelor’s Degree are exempt from official high school transcript requirement)
Official transcript(s) from all colleges/universities and post-secondary institutions
Military transcripts:
- JST transcripts (Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy: Active Duty, Reserve and Veterans)
- Air Force
Credit-by-examination:
- CLEP
- DANTES

Step 4: Apply for Financial Aid

Complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid) at https://studentaid.gov/. Cedar Crest’s Federal Student Code is 003243.

Step 5: Upon admission to Cedar Crest College, submit a copy of Certificate of Eligibility to our Certifying Official

Cedar Crest College Dedicates Honor Chair in Remembrance of POW and MIA Service Members

Cedar Crest College dedicated a “Chair of Honor” in the college’s Harmon Hall of Peace on Veteran’s Day 2019. The chair will remain unoccupied and will stand empty in remembrance of prisoners of war and missing in action service members.

Cedar Crest College must provide Veterans applying to the College with a personalized shopping sheet. Personalized shopping sheets must be provided within 15days after tuition and fees are determined for the academic year if there is a change. For more information, contact the Registrar’s Office or Student Financial Services.
