Schedule your Academic Advising Appointment

This is where your Cedar Crest journey really begins; you are ready to take your next big steps toward becoming an official Cedar Crest student. Next, you will meet with Academic Advising.  

Before you meet, have your preferred days/times ready and bring any course or plan questions. 

Starting with past credits? Submit your official transcripts to . Only coursework processed by the Registrar’s Office can be used in your official plan. 

  • Once your transfer course evaluation has been completed, your next step is to meet with academic advising. 

What to expect during your advising meeting:

  1. Program discussion: Talk through your major, interests, and goals. 
    • This is a space to talk about your academic goals and interests and learn more about your intended major or degree path. 
  2. Course planning: Review recommended sequencing and timelines. 
    • During your one-on-one advising appointment, you will create your course schedule with your advisor. 
  3. Registration: Select classes (plus backups) and confirm your next steps in the portal.
