Cedar Crest College’s School of Nursing is proud to announce that its National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) overall first-time pass rate is the best in the Lehigh Valley — an area renowned for excellence in healthcare. Cedar Crest’s 98.10% average is well above the national rate, which stands at 86 percent, as well as the Pennsylvania pass rate, which is 90 percent.

“Cedar Crest’s School of Nursing NCLEX-RN pass rate of 98% is a direct result of three factors,” says Wendy Robb, Dean of the School of Nursing. “A solid, proven curriculum; expert faculty who prepare students for a successful future in a complex profession; and hard-working students who push themselves to reach their goals through dedication and persistence.”

“Test results are a reliable measure of our students’ preparedness to enter nursing, but employer and patient testimonials of their excellence are more meaningful! At the School of Nursing, we are proud that we’ve met each of these outcomes.”
