Welcome to the HUB

At Cedar Crest, we see you and are committed to ensuring that all members of our community feel seen, heard, and respected. The College fosters a welcoming learning environment that unites students, faculty, and staff from a variety of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to ensure that all who step on our campus feel a true sense of belonging.

At the HUB, you can immerse yourself in programming that will expose you to a whole world of different viewpoints, cultures, and more. From sampling international cuisine at our cultural cafes, to reflecting with our Student Mission Advocates at our Talking Circles, or participating in our interfaith or gender and sexual programming and more, at the HUB, you’ll feel seen and see yourself with us.

The HUB was founded on 3 pillars: Home, Unity, and Belonging:

Home

Step into a welcoming space where your voice and experiences are valued.

Unity

Join student-led programs and conversations that bring people together and spark connection.

Belonging

Share your stories and perspectives in a community where everyone has a place.

Our Mission

The Office of Mission Integration and Strategy, through the Home of Unity and Belonging (HUB) fosters campus-wide culture transformation by embedding mission-driven thinking into daily practices, strategic planning, and decision-making across all levels, ensuring that the institution lives its values while meeting evolving needs.

Cedar Crest was founded to expand women’s access to higher education and remains committed to the principle that our institution is one where all students can feel at home and that they belong.

The HUB is located in the Allen House, which is also home to the Office of International Student Services and the Office of Global Initiatives. Our space offers a comfortable lounge area for gathering, and a fully stocked kitchenette. We encourage all members of our community–students, faculty, staff, and campus organizations–to use our spaces regularly and can reserve space using our on-campus room reservation system for their programs, events, classes, and trainings.

Students can access the space 24/7 using their student ID.
