Office of the Registrar

The Registrar’s Office is committed to upholding the integrity and confidentiality of student academic records in full compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA). Serving as the official authority on degree and certificate conferral, as well as related academic reporting, this office plays a vital role in supporting the institutional mission. The Registrar is an active member of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO).

Registrar Services include

  • Course Registration and Withdrawal
  • Evaluation and Application of Transfer Credits
  • Issuance of Official or Unofficial Transcripts
  • Issuance of Diplomas and Certificates
  • Support in Utilizing Veterans’ Education Benefits

Official transcripts serve as the College’s formal certification of a student’s academic record, including courses completed and grades earned. Each transcript bears the official seal of Cedar Crest College and the signature of the Registrar. Transcripts may be ordered electronically or by mail through Parchment.

Order an Official Transcript

Important Note: While most requests are processed on the same day they are received, processing times may be extended during holidays or peak academic periods.

Current students may access unofficial transcripts at any time and at no cost through MyCedarCrest or by emailing from their Cedar Crest College email account. Former students must request an official transcript to obtain a copy of their academic record. Official transcripts can be ordered through Parchment, the College’s designated transcript service.

Graduates of Cedar Crest College may request additional paper copies of their diploma or certificate. All diplomas are shipped securely in a protective tube via UPS Ground. Standard delivery typically occurs within 3–7 business days after processing. Requests requiring expedited processing or shipping may incur additional fees. Shipping will begin once the diploma has been processed.

Please note that Cedar Crest College does not produce or ship credentials directly from campus. All paper credentials are ordered from a third-part vendor and are mailed directly to the student. The purchase price will depend on the urgency of the service requested.

Request to Reissue a Diploma

Upon graduation, Cedar Crest College students will also receive a Certified Electronic Diploma or “CeDiploma”. These credentials are official, encrypted, and verifiable PDF documents that provide lifelong proof of your academic achievement. Once your diploma has been generated, you will receive an email link from CeCredential Trust to create an account to access your credential.

These credentials are available for life! If you are unable to access your CeDiploma, you may request a new link below:

Important Note: Students who graduated prior to 2023 were not issued a CeDiploma. However, an electronic credential may be requested using the same form linked above.

Key Benefits

More than a paper credential

  • An official, portable and verifiable electronic version of your accomplishment that can be shared for a lifetime!

Different from a transcript

  • Unlimited sharing with employers, family, friends and social media.
  • Similar value as a transcript as proof of education, but shows only the important details.
  • Simple for employers and organizations to read and understand.

Better than an eDiploma

Enhances your resume

  • Expedite the verification process by providing your CeDiD and validation URL on your resume.

*CeDiD (Certified Electronic Document Identifier)

Highly Secure

Each CeDiploma and/or CeCertificate can be independently validated here by future employers, State Government Licensing Agencies and any other entity that wishes to validate your achievement.

The document is digitally signed and encrypted, providing greater trust and acceptance.

For security reasons, the electronic credential cannot be printed.

Note: A credential may not be available for all conferral dates.

Upon completion of coursework for a Cedar Crest College post-baccalaureate or graduate certificate, or the Instructional Coaching Endorsement, students may submit a Graduation Application for review, subject to applicable graduation policies. Students who are completing a certificate or endorsement concurrently with a degree program will have all credentials conferred during the same academic term as the degree.
