As Educational Experience Designer at Cedar Crest College, Dr. Akeisha Belgrave partners with faculty to integrate career competencies into courses across the institution. Her focus is on designing intentional, evidence-based learning experiences that prepare students for career success and equip them with the transferable skills employers value. Prior to joining Cedar Crest, Dr. Belgrave served as Associate Professor and Program Lead for Engineering and Math Sciences at Harrisburg University, where she directed program development, curriculum design, and assessment efforts. She has also completed postdoctoral research at Princeton University and earned her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences and her B.S. in Optical Engineering. She is committed to designing inclusive educational experiences that support students from diverse and non-traditional pathways.
