Caitlin Bailey joined Cedar Crest College in February 2025, serving as both the administrative assistant and graphic designer for the Art and Performing Arts departments. Her role spans a wide range of creative and organizational responsibilities, supporting subgroups such as Art, Art Therapy (undergraduate and graduate), the campus Gallery, Theatre, Music, and Dance.
With a strong background in education and design, Caitlin brings a unique blend of creativity and coordination to her work. She produces promotional materials including posters, programs, and stage props, and plays a key role in organizing events and maintaining daily operations across both departments. One of her proudest recent projects was her graphics and prop work for The Marvelous Wonderettes, which helped bring the production to life on stage at Cedar Crest.
Before joining Cedar Crest, Caitlin worked in Newton, NJ, where she developed and coached Garden State Esports and FIRST Lego League teams at the middle school level, and served as assistant coach for Newton High School’s FIRST Robotics Competition team.
Caitlin holds a B.A. in Elementary Education with a certification in Special Education from Centenary University. She earned her M.F.A. in Graphic Design with a focus in Photography from Marywood University in July 2024. Her thesis, The Journey of Film Studies: A Personal Exploration, reflects her passion for visual storytelling.
Outside of work, Caitlin enjoys creating art, exploring nature, and freelancing as a photographer throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She also volunteers her time supporting STEAM programs and sharing her creative skills with others. She values the welcoming atmosphere at Cedar Crest and is inspired by the collaborative spirit of the campus community.
