I bring extensive mental health nursing experience and a strong commitment to student growth, academic excellence, and Cedar Crest College’s mission. My teaching philosophy emphasizes an inclusive, supportive environment that fosters critical thinking, engagement, and professional development. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Temple University and a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Cedar Crest College in 2010. I have been a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse (PMH-BC) since 2016, with nearly three decades of experience across state hospitals, inpatient psychiatry, outpatient clinics, and psychiatric group homes. Since joining Cedar Crest College in 2013 as a clinical instructor and advancing to Lead Mental Health Instructor in 2015, I have developed evidence-based courses, promoted interdisciplinary collaboration, and mentored diverse learners. I am dedicated to preparing future nurses to provide compassionate, competent, and thoughtful health care.
