Grant Ginder is the author of five novels, including Let’s Not Do That Again (Henry Holt and Co, 2022) and The People We Hate at the Wedding (Flatiron Books, 2017), which was adapted into a motion picture starring Allison Janney, Kristen Bell, and Ben Platt. Scout Press, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, will publish his sixth novel, So Old, So Young, in March of 2026. His work has been awarded with numerous starred reviews in Kirkus, Publishers Weekly, and Booklist, and has been praised in the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, and the New Yorker, among other publications. As a speaker and panelist, a few of the places that Grant has appeared include Good Morning America, the Los Angeles Times Festival of the Book, and the Library of Congress’ National Book Festival. He received his MFA from New York University, where he now serves as a Clinical Associate Professor of Writing.
