As part of the Communication Department’s “Women’s History Month Film Series,” enjoy this screening of She’s Beautiful When She’s Angry.
The blurb is as follows:
- She’s Beautiful When She’s Angry is a look at second wave feminism through extensive interviews, archival footage, and dramatic readings of the key texts of the period. It covers the accomplishments and the fault lines within the feminist movement and addresses issues of race, class, and sexuality in a nuanced way.
There will be a post-screening discussion helmed by Dr. Lauren Braun-Strumfels.
